A puzzle can turn a spare patch of floor into the place everyone ends up. Someone spots the next piece, someone holds a corner steady, and your child gets to call you over for the final bit.
The finished picture gives you somewhere else to go together. Who lives there? Where are they heading? Let your child tell you what happens next before the pieces go back in the box.

Getting started together
